Sapphire Beach is being constructed by a licensed contractor local to Ambergris Caye, Sam Gomez, who has built other resorts in the area. According to the builder, "this is the finest resort built on the island to date." In addition to construction, Sam is a master cabinet maker and has been awarded for his duties as a San Pedro Constable.
